The Specter Baseplate is a patented  un-bonded rail track fastener having the same vibration isolation performance as bonded units with the advantage of easier assembly processes and interchangeable pieces. As an un-bonded assembly each piece of the assembly are individually cast or injection molded from plastic, rubber or iron materials and can be interchanged as desired. Offering unrivalled design configurations and options for customers.  

The Specter Baseplate has successfully completed EN 13481-5 Category C testing to 3 million inclined and an additional 3 million vertical cycles. After a total of 6 million cycles the resulting stiffening in static stiffness is 10-15%. 

Using a variation of rubber hardness from 50 to 66 Shore, the Specter Baseplate design can achieve a nominal static stiffness range from 16 to 30 kN/mm
